Is there any trick to getting the sprocket back onto the wheel after you put new rubbers in. I know there supposed to be tight but damn. Ive tried standing on the sprocket and everthing..........any ideas?

There is a nipple on the rubbers

are you sure that they are all the way into the hub

Yep, the problem is the metal lip on the wheel wont go between the rubbers.

I guess there not all the way in. Can I put some grease or something on the nipple to get it in the hole?

Got it, imagine that, a little lube on rubber helps ease it in. LOL. Thanks for the help, Ill quit cussing for a couple of minutes.

try wd-40 on the cushions, it worked for me... just be careful when applying pressure to the sproket area. I used 2 six inch 2x4 and laid the wheel across them and muscle sproket on...Hope that helps

I'm sure glad you are learning how to do all of this work so you can help me do mine!

Use KY, no joke.....water soluble and will not hurt the rubber, the piece will slide right in with a little wiggling. Got to be careful about using petro based lubes on rubber, may be the reason the cush blocks are going away so quickly...
