Need help installing dash gauge cover

Does anyone know how to install a chrome dash cover? Do I have to remove the faux carbon fiber panel? If so how does it come off? I have the chrome replacement with the eyelids over the gauges.

You do have to remove the factory carbon cover. Should be 2 small screws at the bottom and then it is just a matter of getting through the double-sided tape holding it to the gauges. You will just have to work that back and forth until it comes off. Not difficult, but takes a little work.

Ohh.. I see that my chrome panel has the two holes in the bottom for screws. I should have looked at the stock piece better. Two screws and some double sided tape! Not too bad after all.
