I have an 02 busa and I am putting a clutch in it for the first time. Now the clutch is all stock as of now. I got a cycle concepts drag pack (fibers and steels) after install it seemed to work great for about two days then I went to the track. The first few launches seemed to be ok but after a few more it was locking up with no slip right out of the hole. I have just pulled it apart about 6 times to see if there was anything wrong but I can't see anything.

Do any of you have any suggestions?

Since you clutch worked fine on the street, I'm thinking you may have glazed your fibers during your first few launches depending on how much you slip your clutch. When this happens, the clutch won't slip,it only locks up at the point of fully out on the lever. Check your fibers and see if their shiny, the first 1 or 2 may look ok, it usually deeper in the stack. If this is the case you may salvage it by using some 80 or 100 grit sandpaper just enough to remove the glaze, hope this helps

This maybe the problem. There were two steels in the middle of the stack that were already blue and with only about 15 miles on them. I will take them to work and bead blast them and see if this works. Thanks for the help.
