Need help

Can anyone tell me how much of the fork tube sticks out above the top clamp (what you would see once the handle bar holder/top clamp cover is off). Do the tops of the fork tube touch the bottom side of the cover?

The online shop manual says it does, but i remember another forum member saying that there is a 4mm gap there.

Mine was 28mm from the bottom side of bottom most clamp to the top of the outside edge of fork tube (not adjuster..)
