I was just wonderin about the busa. Wat is it like? How easy is it 2 customize? Wat is insurance like?
Please give any info you can or want. Thanks

It's insanely fast.....it's unbelievably customizable, and it cost more to insure than almost any bike out there.......cool huh.
Welcome to the board dude!!!

i have seen some custom busas and most of them are really nice. One thing i dont like is the swingarm on some of the busas. they make the tire stick so far out it looks so ugly

Welcome to the board. I think monsterspeedfreak just about summed it up. I agree with you that the extended swing arm is ugly if you're not using it to race. It is pointless to put one on the bike if you never use it. Insurance is kind of a joke, it all depends on who you call. You can get full coverage from $400 to over $2000 per year. Some people will say that the Busa is to big and heavy but unless you have ever riden one you'll never know just how well this thing is balanced. It is a all around great bike.

Awesome machine....it's so awesome it can kill you in a split second if you take her for granted.

And yeah....what MSF said! Shaved Nads!!! All the way!!! GO! GO! GO!

I cant wait untill I get one. Is it better to get a used busa or a new 1. Im hoping to get the 04 purple and black 1 when im 17.

Ok, first off...you need to be very careful with these machines, dood. They can really hurt you....as with any bike....really quick if you don't respect them. I would suggest getting a used one first. On top of that, take a MSF course and get some gear....you have much life ahead of you. Have you ridden before? If not, I would recommend getting a smaller bike. Not only will it be more forgiving, but your insurance rates will not be as high either. Getting a busa will skyrocket your insurance...

There's a thread here... lemme see if I can find the link.

Here it is. Read it with an open mind, bro. Again, remember that you have much life ahead of you....and the busa is an awesome machine that can really test your skills and your nerves.

i am going to get some practice on a suzuki gsf600. I dont exactly want a busa for its power, even tho that is a plus. I love the design. It has the best design of ne other bike.

Well, just be careful bro. I'm tellin you....this bike can hurt you real quick...real quick. Even if you don't want it for the power, just remember that the powre will always be there, so watch that right wrist. It'll get you in trouble real quickly.

The busa is an all around awesome bike, looks power, handling. Ins. can be real crazy. I shopped around and I pay 55$ per month for full coverage. When I first got it, I was quoted 6500$ a year WTF. I was 22 when I was quoted that I am now 24. I would say stay with that Katana for a while.

welcome to the board. Read everything you can on this site. that will give you an idea of what a Busa is all about.
