Need new grips

Just got back from a longish ride and was annoyed by the factory grips. I was considering trying the Pro Grips pictured below. Has anyone on here tried them and care to offer an opinion and I was trying to determine if 320mm is the correct size? Thanks to all and ride safe.

I put pro gel grips on all three of my sportbikes and luv em. I also bought a pair of olympia leather gloves with a gel insert and they work great also... I wish I could get a set of gel grips for the goldwing. I bought a set of kuryakyn grips fro the wing and they are just too large...

I just bought a set of the foam grips that HyperBike sells. Get in touch with Greg for a set. They were like 10 bucks, and work great.

I had those same grips on my 06 and never had any issues as compared to the stockers, I found that the Pro Grips took alot of the buzz feeling out that I was encountering with the stock grips.

JrGMan- Thanks for the update. I will also look for info to help you. I am looking at putting on some grip heaters and will need to replace the grips.
Here is what I found. The grips are measured in external length. The grips on our bikes measure 4.75 inches. That translate to 120.65mm. The website states that the 719's are 122 mm. 120mm grips are the 716, I dont see the 716 grips on the website. Am I losing it? Check it out---->http://www.progrip.com/default.asp?tip=3&ite=gri#top

Ditto on the thanks Benzo_tek, appreciate your solving the length issue, will order a set and see how they work out.

Sorry Benzo_tek, had a chance to COMPLETELY read your posting and follow the link and am scratching my head over these grips fitting? I will give it a few days and see if someone posts a response to clarify the size that works on the 'busa. Didn't think selecting grips would be such a challenge...

I have a feeling that they will fit. I wouldnt see why 2 mm would make a big difference. I will try to call to get more info.

(razorshark @ Sep. 08 2007,20:25) I was used to cruisers so I put Kuryakyn ISO 7/8 grips on...love them.
Are these grips compatible with the bar end weights or do they need to be removed? I like the look and feel of those grips, but don't want to lose my throttlemeisters.

Hey I got the grips today along with the heaters. However the grips have the closed end on them. Does anyone know if the closed end grips are different from the open end one's? I see that on the factory grips there is a little plastic ring around, that the grips fits into. Like a little channel on both ends.....

Did we get a response on this because I too am used to iso gripys on my HD and find the diameter of the stock grips and the vibes awful! Would be keen to know how well the iso grips worked out!!!
