Need some advice 2006 LE

I have just bought a 2006 Busa LE and it only has 500km or 300 miles on the dial. I am shopping around for an exhuast system for it and found a full Muzzy chrome exhuast system brand new in the box for 499 and if I go with the package deal the K&N Filter will be 56 dollars and the Power Commander 3 will be 259 dollars. Is this a good deal? Question number two, when installing a full exhuast system like this, is there anything elses I need for the install, like special bolts or have to cap anything off? Can I do the install myself without too much technical stuff to get involved with? And is it a good idea to wait to put this stuff on the bike until it is broken in? or can I install it without causing the bike any grief in reference to the break in period?

And can somebody tell me if it is worth getting a Zero Gravity DB windshield for the bike, was there a lot of difference in wind protection after the swap, and if anybody has any comments on the HELI RISERS for the bike, did it make a significant difference in comfort and riding the bike. And after install is there any issues with clearance with an aftermarket windscreen? Thanks any advice would be appreciated Bruce.

I can answer the ZG DB question.

Get it!

If you search (or others chime in) you'll see that others may recommend a Puig. Bottom line, not too many like and/or keep the stock screen on. Most Busa riders are tall, wide, or both and it's a little difficult to tuck behind the stock screen. Also, it's more difficult to see the cluster w/ the stock screen.

I'm 6'4" tall and the double bubble from ZG makes for a better ride over stock. I even put the stock one back on just to compare... and immediately went back to ZG DB. Plus it looks better. I also have an 06 LE. I put Scorpion CF exhaust on it... looks great, sounds great. They have a ceramic core, so no packing to change.

Go with the DB. Period. Doesn't matter who the maker is, as long as it's ZG or Puig. I've had both, and can't tell any difference.

Puig DB all the way- rode a friend's Busa after getting used to my Puig and HATED the stock screen!

Gauges are now visible with DB, stock-no.

Thanks guys for the info on the windscreen, wondering if the deal with the muzzy exhuast with power commander and K&N filter is a good deal.

lmk what price is and I will see if I can do better...Buy a bmc filter instead of the K&N....you may as well keep yuor stocker if you use the K&N one...

Im a big guy but short 5'9" and a couple cm. I have no problem seeing the gauges or tucking behind the stock screen. Must be a tall person thing. I plan to keep the stocker, haven't found an aftermarker screen that really flows with the lines of the bike

I have an 06 LE also, I went with the HMF high mount slip-on looks great and sounds badazz
