I am thinking about these two boots as a replacement for my Oxtars that have served me well for the past couple of years and I have come across these two that are in the price range I have been looking for--Can you all chime in and give me advice which you'd go with and why???
New enough has these SIDI Vertigo's for around $175 and STG has these TCX's for around $185---- which would you go with and why?? I'll be just riding street mostly but may eventually do a track day--but on gear I figure the best I can afford is what I need to get...any feedback will be mucho appreciated:thumbsup:

They are both great brands, and cant go wrong with either. Personally I use TCX/Oxtar boots. I'd say go with the one that fits best and is most comfortable for you.

I think most everyone is familiar w/ the Sidi name, and rightfully so....they make a great product. However those TCX's look like a well made boot, I just don't know much about them. :dunno: You could always call one of the guys at STG.com and ask 'em what's up w/ the TCX's....they're good guys and will shoot ya straight.
Personally I can't buy any footwear unless I try it on 1st. :banghead:

i only own Oxtar's and Sidi's in sportbike boots and love both kinds :beerchug:

Thanks for the input guys... I presently own the Oxtar boot (they changed the name to TCX the next year after I bought) and I have had good results with them- so I figured the TCX would be a great boot, but man I've just read so much about the SIDI being the boot to get... I appreciate the feedback from everyone-- I think either would be money well spent too...

Those AXO boots look like they are well made too Kromdom:beerchug:

I was very pleasantly surprised at the AMOUNT of boot I got for the money. Great bang for the buck, I give these boots

P.S. I was going to pull the trigger on the SIDIs from newenough but I could not get past the "storm trooper" white color scheme

I had a pair of old Set-UP boots made in part by Sidi, I have owned them for 7 years, loved them, but wanted more protection just bought the Vertigo Rain's, have not ridden with them but from what everyone else says go with Sidi..

My wife just bought the vertigo ladies on sale at newenough, they are having some blow out prices right now

Good luck with your search, both look like great protective gear, and better then tenny's anyday

I have Sidi's and really love mine, but the others look nice also.
