Need some help guys!!

Gettn ready to sink some money inmy bike im gonna have it re painted or possibly carbon fiber body work with the dynamicbikes undertail but my main question is about the performance im thinking of a full yosh exhaust i want to stay with the duals if possible but would i build more power with a single system?? also want the PC3 and K&N filter but is there an aftermarket air box or maybe even a mod to the stock box??? i have the 6 blade muzzy fan on order and whats the deal with this TRE?? is this a plus or minus?? any helpful comments or suggestions will be appreciated!!!

But anyways.. your a newb... and I'm a helpful type guy..

OK.. my opinions..

I like the dual systems also... but in the end I went with a full single system for the weight savings..

the TRE is a waste. It will let you go over 186... but you'll get there slower.

biggest advantage to a PCIII is that it got ride of the surging my bike had when I installed the new full system.

I also think K&N filters are junk... basically like a 60's oil bath air filter.. yeah it breathes better... but it lets more crap thru also... plus nobody has ever produced a dyno of a before, and after that showed any improvement in anything.


Honestly... if you want a dual system.. get a set of slipons, and save the rest of that money and buy a set of HH pads for the front/rear, and some stainless steel brake lines.

or... well no.. get a full system and a PC... but don't waste money on the K&N, and the Tre.. use that money for stainless brake lines... big improvement in brake feel... and the HH pads will help get it whoa-ed down a bit faster.

thanks thats all greatly appreciated and also i want to extend the bike i have done this for years on dirt bikes and have been an avid hillclimber since i was old enough to kick start a bike......but how does this effect the handling and is it safe to ride with these?

and how low will ibe able to go with the extensions ?? i have it 3 now and its pretty low. thanks for all the help!!! sorry for being so NEW haha!!!

I suggest you go for a Single Can Full exhaust system... That way, you will save some weight along with adding some HP to your bike.

I dont think you will get a moddified aftermarket AirBox, but you can go to the Brocks site and check out how to modify your own box.

If you have plans of going over 186MPH ... Then the TRE will be helpful. I suggest you go in for Ivan's Smart TRE if you do decide to go in for one.
