Need some help

I recently removed my pair valve and put a TRE (i know I am gonna get it for that) but my MPG has went from about 38 or so to 33 to 34. My fuel light comes on around 135 now and it was 160 before. I am just wondering which mod did that. I think it is the TRE but am not sure. If it is I am not that happy with the performance of it so I would just take it off to regain the MPG. Thanks for your help in advance guys.

one thing /i noived after blocking the PAIR system was smoother acceleration. This will tend towards running each gear to a higher RPM, which leads to lower MPG.

i think with the standard tre , you are running the fith gear map all the time even in neutral. since fifth gear calls for more fuel you should be running rich in neutral and the first four gears ,causing your fuel mpg to drop . this is also alot easier to test just remove the tre and see if your milage returns ? every performance mod you do should drop your mpg . to make more power you need more fuel ! so i am sure the pair removal has affected it also ?

+1 on the function of the TRE (other than providing o2 to other living things...

) from what I understand. I don't know if the pair removal has same effect or not.
I'm thinking the pair removal or (marble mod.?) just stops the recycling of fuel into exhaust? Hey, I'm a newbie on this stuff, someone with carnal knowledge will chime in though!
