New Alarm remote?

I don't have it yet, but I have already ordered the whole system with that remote and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival!

I just installed my Scorpio alarm this past weekend and it is the cat's meow. My remote is like the one above and definitely worth the money!

I called to see about upgrading just the remote and they said no go ... oh well ... will have to wait and see what the next one looks like and hope mine has not crapped out yet.

I called and was told I could buy the new remote and charger and they would send me directions on how to program it to my alarm.

Ok I just called again and was told if your alarm was made after march 2006 then the new remote will work if not they offer an upgrade send your old control unit and $249.99 and they send new updated control unit, remote, and charger. Too much for nothing new in security! At this rate I'll just get me another clifford RSX 3.5 and have remote start and the ability to use one remote for the truck and bike.

$249 for softare upgrading?

. What the phug are they (Scorpion) smoking. Total cost shouldn't be no more than $95 including the new remote. Hell, you can get a spare Scorpion remote cheaper here for $89.

C'mon Scorpion, how about showing some love to your loyal customers.

I agree they are really jacking up the price. Plus the mark up on the new remote is crazy $90, it probably costs them $20 at most to make it. I must admit though I now have remote envy!
