Just replaced my Pads with EBC HH pads and installed Some Galfer +1.5" brake lines front and rear.

It's awesome, no more crappy feel, and shed loads of power!!!

It's about damn time and now I am sorry I waited so long 100% improvement over stock, Galfer lines bolted up no sweat and I filled it all with MOTUL 600 Brake Fluid, also great stuff.

Just letting ya'll know that you can make the fronts feel and work 100% better.

Dunno about the bleeding, had my mechanic do the brakes.  I'll tinker with my ride, but I don't mess with that which keeps me alive!

Galfers come with a top bleed screw right off the master cylinder though.

I also flushed and replaced the coolant with Silkolene PRO-Cool. Seems to have done the trick. It's basically the same thing as Engine Ice, but with a major brand behind it.

Also new plugs, and synched the throttle bodies.

Lilah surprised me she was running so well on the way home.

Sounds great, Rev. Got the EBC pads on and waiting til the winter to replace my lines.

EBC's Through the Dealership I work at, and the custom length Galfers through Ricci Motorsports here in the Seattle area.

Cost is roughly $32 a side and you will want the EBC HH pads. Good Stuff.

Seriously about racked myself a couple of times on the way home after swapping out the pads and lines. They are THAT much more powerful. My brakes now feel like Gixxer 1K brakes. Simply awesome.

I would still recommend Goodridge or Spiegler lines before Galfer, but I have no complaints. Accept that Ricci got my Fitting in the wrong color. I asked for Black and Got Silver but ya know....

I think the front set was like $140 and the rear was about $80. Money well spent.

Shoot me a email if you need pads or lines. We recommend HEL, but can get you any line you want. Our price on the HH pads are $30.75 and with lines they are $25. Our 4 line (dual fronts, clutch and rear) are $155.

Longer lines due to heli-bars, I haven't experianced any additional noise with the EBC HH. They are awesome pads.

Do some research and buy what makes sense folks, don't let a salesman "SELL" you anything.

Rev,

You got any pics of the bleeder valve at the handlebars
