I lurked at my Suzuki dealer for years, sat on Busas, dreamed about Busas....
I took my wife along a couple of months ago to get her response to seeing me astride a Busa. She said "Your crotch is not rocket ready" Hey, I'm 63, balding, and overweight. I said, "I'm running a little short on lifespan here, gotta have one now." So despite the misgivings of my "fun governor", I bought the last 09 they had- a white beauty of a beast. The Busa joins my BMW R1200GS in the garage and became an instant and fabulous enrichment to my life. I flew most of my life and enjoyed dirt bikes a lot as a hobby. I am adicted to "G's". The Busa is perfect for me, so sweet, such a beast. God I love this bike. Only one month and 1200 miles down the road, this will be a forever bike in my stable.
I have used similar forums to support me with other bikes, and can already see that this is an outstanding one. I'll expect to be find all the honest after market tips I need right here. I'm planning to add heli-bars, a Yoshi 4 into one pipe, bag rack and want to learn about Buell pegs for ergos. I have exercised my neck and back and am very comfortable with the stock set up for maybe 150 miles, but not so much after that.
