I am buying a 05 Busa tomorrow morning and I am just wondering what kind of negotiating room any of you had when you bought your recent Hayabusas

here in California, if I was able to get it for cost , the out the door price would still be around 10800, I guess our taxes are a lot higher here than WI. But thanks for the input. I know they have three at the store and I am not getting an LE, I am getting the red one that has a msrp of 10999By the way...you may want to "try" negotiating out of the setup fee...and at the very least, have them toss in the first service. A deal on riding gear doesn't hurt either, but don't expect to get it free.
Negotiating is what I do for a living, I am a sales manager for Toyota so I have that part down. I was just wondering what everyone elses experience is so I will be armed with some busa knowledgelook around on the internet, print out some advertised OTD prices and take that in with you. let them know that they ain't doing you a favor by selling you one, you're doing them a favor by buying it from them. Walk away from it if you have to.

sorry, I guess I forgot to mention that. I am going to call around the area, and get some prices and then take them to the local dealer and tell him take it or leave it. Of course I will try to get some dual yoshi pipes thrown in,lolWell if you'd told me that.........Negotiating is what I do for a living, I am a sales manager for Toyota so I have that part down. I hear you, and being in the business of sales, I dont have a problem with a dealer making some money, that is why they sell bikes in the first place, I just dont want to grossly over pay. If it was a car, which is my specialty, I would know all the answers but all my previous bikes were paid for by cash from private partys, so I appreciate all the help I have received so far from you guys.Popular time of year to be buying a bike, so dealers may be less likely to negotiate. Good luck though and hope you wind up with one tomorrow!
just curious, where are you guys getting your invoice pricing for the busa at? I can find auto invoices on line so far but havent find any bike invoices yetDealer cost on a 05 LE is $9388 (including assembly)I am buying a 05 Busa tomorrow morning and I am just wondering what kind of negotiating room any of you had when you bought your recent Hayabusas
