New clutch time? And Wavey dics

Hi all, my Busa's clutch is starting to play up. It's only biting at the last point of letting the lever go. Now a good mechanic I know tells me that I should take the sprocket cover off and have a look for loads of crap built up.

He say's its quite common and I should clean it out before forking out £200 for a new clutch. So I'm going to have a look at it in the morning, if it makes no difference then I guess I'll be looking at a new cluch.

Any thoughts?

I also need new front discs as under heavy breaking they are shuddering like mad, the two I've found in the UK are quite expensive and I wonderd if you chaps could give any advice.

yup check the hydraulic system first. Sounds like your clutch pack is fine.
Check for lots of gunk inside the cover.
Check clutch fluid, may need to be changed and re-bleed.

Thanks guys, looks like all the clutch needed was a good clean and new fluid. Seems better now.

I do fancy those discs, shame they are over £400!!!! I might have to treat myself though
