Had my Busa a week now and I love it. I can only imagine this what it would be like to strap myself to a cruise missle. WOW that's all I can say.
I was wondering if there was anybody on this forum that is in or pretty close to New Orleans. The roads are not really good here but I would really like to find some other people to ride with. I don't know anybody here who rides and it gets boring going by myself right now.

Welcome to last place you will ever need for Busa info..Just watch out for a couple of people.. "Rubberside down" bark worst then bite, "Yamohor" Just no explantion on this one."Revlis" Mr post hoe. I will go home tonite and take pics but the bike is pretty ugly right now. I bought a 2004 with 5 miles on it. It was stolen and recovered but sat for this whole time (about 16 months) so now I have a "brand new" Busa with no paint and half the fairings are off. I bought it for 7K. I think I got a pretty good deal. It was pretty much stock, all it had was some goofy bar ends on it and this blue speed screen that I can't see out of when I get down on the tank.
Don't worry guys I have already taken the reflectors off. I also ordered a lowering strap for the front.
I will tell you this when I got the bike, I guess the oil was all at the bottom and it was really slow. I was actually very upset cause I thought it was gonna be faster, I mean I have been riding street bikes for 10 years and it just didn't feel that fast. I rode it home to change about 3 miles from where I keep the bike and I went into my house to log on here to put it up for sale. Well thank God my account didn't work that night cause I got back on it to take it back to my other house (where I keep it in the dining room) and holy @#$% it was fast. I guess the oil finally thinned out and it was running great. I mean I was like totally blown away by how fast this bike is. I have been in love with the Busa forever but owning one is the best.
Sorry I have no pictures guys, I don't even have a seat right now(I ride it anyway though) uncomfortable but I do it. I love just staring at the bike. I am trying to figure out what color I want to paint the bike. I want the fastest color...LOL!
