New Helmet Question

I just gor my new lid, It is a Scorpion EXO 1000.
When I ordered it I measured my nugget to make sure and order the right size. According to the size chart I need a XL. That is what I recieved, but it feels a little tight oround the crown of my head. Is this normal? will it loosen up the more I wear it?

they are supposed to be a firm snug, NOT TIGHT, if it causes any discomfort or pain its the wrong size.. they do loosen up after a few months of use though

"snug" is the magic word. they do loosen up a bit. you dont want it tight to the point where it's giving you a headache and you can feel your blood pulsing through your head.

i had a helmet that i purchased which fit perfectly snug WHEN i bought it but became too loose. i would say very snug will become snug.
