First of all no complaints from the 14, IMO a better bike then the 99-07 busa's. I had an 02 and 03 Busa before and they were great bikes as well. I new as soon as Suzuki came out with a new Busa I would be back. The 08 is a great bike, I just like the feel of the Busa better, reminds me of an old muuscle car where the 14 is like a fast german car. I also really like the looks of the Busa better, hell even when I had the 14 I liked the looks of the 99-07 Busa's better. My 14 ran 9.14 at 153 on a all stock motor and pump gas and I was 216 unsuited. My 08 Busa is making 8 more hp then my 14 did so I'm hoping for a 9.20 something out of it stock wheelbase.

cool deal, sounds like you know how to ride the things, should prove interesting.. (great shot of the 14 all the same, did you notice the flat appearing spot at the bottom of the front tire? weird illusion... it does go away when you blow up the image... org does strange stuff to pics sometimes)

Took the 08 to the track with 93 miles on it and bone stock except lowerd and strapped and in a 20 mph head wind went 9.88 at 145. with a 1.610 60 ft.

Hold on....at 8:06 am you were hoping for a 9.2 and at 8:11 you were posting about a 9.88 run you just did? Hmm.....???

You are a winner, Isaid when my track opens I hope to be in the 9.20's so you are correct. Your also correct when I said I went 9.88. No ask your self do you really think I paln on going back out and run a 9.20 with the same set-up I went 9.88 with? Answer NO I now have Brocks Alien head, pwr commander, cycle tek airshifter, synthetic oil, and I've lost 20lbs. I went in the 9.30's stock wheelbase on my 14 so I see no reason to think I can't go 9.20's with more hp and less weight! And yes my break in consist of 20 or 30 miles of easy riding then ride it how you want it to run.

Welcome to the mayhem.

Congrats on coming back across the bridge.
