This would be a long move for me,but i love doing what i do but the market isn't huge here for what i do.

Would this be a good place to open a aftermarket/performance type shop?

would it stay busy you think?

would bringing the dyno up make anymore money with it?

What are the riders biggest interest in that area?

We would offer any and everything you want at a fair market price.

This is something I'm thinking of doing now to get the guys and girls into get their bikes all prepped up for next year.

feel free to let your hair down and talk all thoughts are welcomed....

Since I only visited for a month I can only speculate on what I saw.... There are a lot of motorcycles in the area! Most however seem to be of the HD type. I can't recall seeing one performance shop on my way to/from work. I'm sure there has to be one as the weather is perfect for riding. Surely some of the locals can assist! Have you contacted the BBB for the area or the chamber of commerce for Jax, Fl? They could give you a better demographics as to what types of business are successfully running now...

Golden Child, I live in jacksonville fl, my closest group of friends own a couple of the motorcycle shops in town, one of which is the most reputable in town, and we know the owners of most of the other shops. If you would like some information or would like to talk with me or someone who is heavily invovled in the industry here in jacksonville let me know. My good friend has been in the market here and has owned a shop for the last 10 years, he has just sold his shop to pursue a couple diff. things. but he is very knowledgable about the market and would be more than willing to talk with you about it. my email is among@comcast.net

I would definitely like to talk to either one of you.Shoot me your #'s I will try to hook up with you this weekend while i'm there.

Just listen to your customer base, and dont try to get too big too quick.I think you'll do okay.NJ.:)
