I went in and got some work done; we had redesigned our unit logo while deployed to Iraq, I invested a lot of myself in that squadron... So, here it is:

I went back and added the logo for comparison; the eagle's tattoo is the H&MS 26 logo used from 1952 until 1988. Headquarters and Maintenance Squardons (H&MS) became Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons (MALS)... and now you know!

I was with MALS 11 AISD/ALIMS for a while and Leigh is going to MALS-39 (not 36 like i thought)

Neat concept of adding the original logo to the new one

There are some pretty good people out at 39, and that area of Pendleton is amazing... spend some time in the beach cabins out there... that place is awesome. And close to everything!
