Got a deal I could not pass up. FedEx knocked on the door this afternoon and it has arrived.

Shoei X-Twelve. We will see how it compares to the RF-1000 and X-Eleven I have been wearing.

Keep us posted. Good looking helmet.

My helmet is M2005 and I am skimming the market for a M2010 by years end.

I have an x12. its very good but the ventilation is sup par in my opinion. Thats my only complaint about it

the ventilation is sup par in my opinion.

Compared to what others? I've only owed Shoei street bike helmets since 1990 so I don't have much to compare to.

Ventilation on my X-11 is better than my RF-1000, but it comes with more noise than the RF-1000. I wear ear plugs regardless on longer rides.

sorry. compared to my arai rx7. Very noticable difference I think. Reviews i have seen on the helmet says the same kind of thing. amazing really considering its a new top of the line lid from them.. jmo though

dont get me wrong. i actually like the x12 better. in my opinion the interior padding is better, the shield locking is way better and it is waterproof when you lock the visor down. Neither of which is the case with the arai to me anyway.

I had been thinking about an Arai but never have bought one.

Rick you been doing some "Extreme Couponing" you get it for .08 cents or something like that...

Nice looking lid and given the quality of the Shoei brand I'm sure you'll get your $$$ worth and then some... I was/am a Shoei guy for years but in 07 went to the dark side and bought my first Arai, also a great helmet. If ya decide to give em a try I highly recommend trying them on at a dealer. They seem to fit a lot different then what at least I was accustomed to.
