I got my busa about a month ago and just installed a full yosh, 16 tooth front and did a partial air box mod. This site has been a great help.......THANKS TO ALL

I got my first bike (since the JR50 at age 5)about two months ago. It was a Ninja 250, no kidding. I was nervous about riding again so i wanted to start small. I got the Ninja and hated it, four weeks later I got my busa. This bike is unbelievable, fast and stable. I have no regrets.

Dude-
get the motorhead full airbox mod.
get a pc-2, get the shermworks sidestand
mod.
have fun and just to rub it in- I get to ride 12 months of the year. It does get cold in the winter-it may only hit 60 degrees.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!!! RIDE IT LIKE YOU JUST STOLE IT......

Watch out for those wheelies that seem to happen in second gear when you nail it open.
This AIN'T no 250 Ninja.Smart move getting your skills back before moving into the lion's den.Respect the beast that lies within.King Kong was just a spider monkey and Godzilla a tree lizard. This thing is a real MONSTER!Ride safe and defensively.

I live just west of Williamsport. Actually I wanted the blue one, but there was a sold tag on the last one. I didn't find out that red was fastest til after I got it. I have noticed the front end is very light up to about 130mph, especially after the sprocket and pipe.

I am planning to get a PC-II but we don't have a dyno around here to tune it on. Can you just put in one of the maps like the 007harv everyone talks about, or would it be better not to get a box if I can't tune it.

Yeah, it's out there a bit. I got the bike at Ye 'ol cycle barn in Hughsville. They charged me the 10,800 for the bike but no setup fees and the gave me almost what I paid for the Ninja new. I was very happy with them.

Jersey Shore PA, out in the boonies eh.

I lived in Williamsport in the early 60's. Now in Camp Hill.

I have a fast RED too. Where did you get yours?
