third set of tires, now on ppowers, like them alot. busa gel grips, like them better than stock, they seem smaller, fit my hand better. cut the rear fender. clear taillight. Yoshi slipons. Puig black windscreen, works good! Marble mod, stopped all the sputtering. remapped, tre, not shure if this helped me any, but seems smoother through the gears, except the 5th to 6th nutral thing, seems to do it more on cold startups. billet barends. billet oil cap. Oh yea lost the reflectors, and stickers, I stiffened the forks up. gotta do the rear, I weigh 230, seems spongy. got me some front and rear stands (Hindel) they woork good. I like the bike basic stock! not really into the bling thing! just like to ride!
Oh yea, I got all the info off this board!!!!!!My buddy has been riding his whole life, I kind of grew up riding his bikes! But never had my own, My uncle got hurt real bad he is still not the same, lady pulled out in front of him, never looked! My family never aloud me to have a bike. I live about 2 miles from Road Atlanta gotta do a track day.
allmost forgot, I like to have never got the headlight adjusted right! Put me a silvania bulb in, its alot brighter than stock! You people are very knowledgeable about this bike! Hope to get the HID soon but funds ran out. gotta do the kick stand mod, it fell over in the garage when i first got it. now i push all the way forward in gear. Also about a month after i got it, comming home from work one night, to hot in, locked the rear downshifting, straight off the road, between two trees, across a ditch, dumped it, could not see what was comming next. bike fixed, then one night leaving the parking lot after work, 20 degrees, car comming from right, nailed it,360. plastic getting expensive!!! Got me some sliders! gotta put em on soon! I know this sounds crazy, but i know better!
This is why when people ask about getting a Busa as a first bike, we recomend against it. Even a minor mishap is an expensive mistake. Hope you have it all behind you now and have many trouble free years of riding ahead of you.
