Speaking of age, I've just turned 65 and still working (as a bike mechanic) and still excited to get out on my bike and feel the wind and the elements.
Here in NZ all the regular riders on average are between 60 and 80, I rode with a group the other week and they were old farts, I was the youngest lmao.

I had intended on getting all black but even though lots of others have the same color I still liked the gray. Besides I have a new Shoei that is almost exactly the same gray metallic color . Makes perfect sense to spend 20k cuz it matches 800 dollar helmet

Good choice, can’t go wrong with Shoei. After 10 years, bought meself 2 new Shoei‘s last week. One for the misses and one for me, both installed with the Sena SRL mesh in it, works pretty well. Quite a financial investment must say.
