Posted up some pics a couple of weeks ago of the 2003 Suzuki 750 I purchased from an AFM mechanic local to my area. Wanted to post up a couple more pics of some of the details that I didn't catch on initial purchase.
Rode the 750 over to a storage unit this afternoon to make room for my wife's car while I finish off my Hayabusa painting project.
Pic 1+2 are of the plastic sliders that have been drilled half way through. This is really a nice feature that anyone who trailers a bike should think about. You can use your tiedown hooks through this hole and end of slider to anchor bike instead of torquing on the grips or handle bars. I towed my bike home in a trailer over 2 mountain ranges and it was snug as a rug...the other tie downs go on the clips on the tail section...works perfectly.
pic 3-4 show the style of battery tender clip used on this bike. It is what some of the fork lift guys use..wire inserts in a hole drilled in wheel well...remember not to drill into the ECU
Pic 5-6 more pics of the cockpit...notice the little metal clip that keeps the clutch adjuster from moving. Also one of the reasons I like Scott better than GPR dampner is the high speed control (under the black cap to the right of the knob) which I do not believe GPR has incorporated into their unit...I will state that at my level of tracking it wouldn't make a difference
Pic 7-8 Quickshift pic and overall view of bike
I know guys are in the deapths of winter blues right now..so this is my way of just trying to cheer you up a little guys...spring is coming quick...hang in there2hip
