Picked up the Hayabusa a few weeks ago.

Had a Ninja 500 previously that I rode for about a year, first bike.

Hadnt ridden in about 4 years.

Been wanting one since I was remarried, the time finally came.

Went to the dealership and was looking around, there were two busa's the one I got had the fewest miles, 4k, 2006 model, and in the better condition.

Wife liked it too, when I saw it was a Busa, I was like whoaaaaa, I like it too.

Wife didnt know anything about the Busa just liked how it looked.

I know the basics about riding, but am imitimdated about its power.

I'm a tall skinny dude, 150lbs, so I have a hard time starting off quickly and hanging on and shifting into 2nd, feel like Im going to fall off!

Thats about it with me.

I work retail so wkds are hard to get off if anyone lives around here, but I am off this Sat/Sun, go figure.

:welcome: to the Busa,
Just take it easy and get your saddle time in. There is nothing like seat time to increase your confidence and abilities.

She is a sweet ride when you get to know her!

Ride safe,
Bubba

This is when I first brought it home.

Getting a new hump, bought it used at the dealer, and they didnt have it.

Working on getting reflectors off, front brackets are irritating me:whistle:

Welcome aboard. What you are feeling is the torque this bike has when you take off. You will get used to it time. Take your time with this bike, she is not very forgiving if you flog her. But, she can be gentle as a kitty if you respect her and ride with sanity. I promise you, after you ride a busa for while, and get back on the 500, you will be trying to wring its neck to get the same feeling. Good luck and please be careful. :welcome:
