New sprocket for rear

i just did a trade and got a 44 tooth rear sprocket. im wanting to set it up for drag racing and i have a 2-10 inch ove swing arm, so is that too much sprocket?

Several folks running 44 tooth sprockets with turbos.  Should give you a bigger burst, but take away more top end.

Yep...3 to 9" adjustable arm set at 6"...

I had a 42 and it was cool . I'm putting on a 3-9" are and i'll be going to a 16/42 setup.
