New Tires - What do I need?

Need some of the expert advice...never paid too much attention to tires because I don't carve up the canyons or drag my knee....looking for a good set of tires that I can sport tour on and run hard and fast in a straight line or at the strip once in a while ( I have a Shinko 003 and another wheel for that).

Looking at a set of 005 Shinkos because of the price. Is this a bad choice? Recommend something better. I can get a pair of these for about $189.00

Any word on the Tomahawks...can get those for 149.00 a pair.

Advice please...If I have too...I can by a set of Corsa or Pilots, but if I really don't need them for my riding style........I'd rather save the $$$

Well..they have some miles left for sure. I'll get them out today. Remember UPS doesn't work on Thursday/Friday but we can get them in the system.

I had Venoms on my big street bike and liked them...good handling and long wear. I'll check them out .
