New to list - \"new\" \'99 Haybus

Hey all, just got a "new" to me '99 Hayabusa. I must say that it's a hoot to drive. I'm enjoying the heck out of it and I'm starting to think there's not much this bike can't do! I've got a couple of questions though if anyone can help me.

First, I bought the bike used with 2,000 miles, a full Yosh pipe/system, and the DynoJet PC2. Things seem to be OK, but there's a slight burble/stumble just off idle that I can't seem to tune out using the buttons on the PC2. Has anyone got a similar setup and have you found a PC2 map that works without twiddling?

Second, it's still got the stock BT56F/BT56R tires on it and they seem a little vague in corners. a) you got any tire pressure recommendations? I've tried 35front/36rear. b) any suspension setting rec's? c) has anyone used my old fave D207's?

Cheers all,

Thanks Vegas for the tip. Duly noted and will play with those pressures this wknd. I noted the 42/42 rec. in the manual, but I couldn't resist the temptation to use the 34/36 pressures that work well on my other bikes which admittedly have been a little lighter (and less powerful I may add) ;-)

Thanks again,
W

Wegs, Congratulations and Welcome to the Club!

Sounds like you are well on your way to fun times with that exhaust system. If you are running the stock airbox there should be no hessitation or stumble if your pipe was correctly re-mapped.
My only advice is to remember to leave the bike in gear whenever you put the side stand down. Good luck to you and may you have many miles with smiles on it.
