New to the Busa

Hi I'm new to the Busa world. I just bought an 01 and I'm picking it up tomorrow. I'm kinda in there with a lot of the others where I'm just looking for the most for money kinda add-ons. As far as exhaust I think I'm gonna stay with what's on the bike. I'll have take another look tomorrow when I pick up the bike but I'm pretty sure it's a full Yoshi and it is the single side so that's a plus in my opinion. Only way I may change the exhaust is for an under tail if someone makes one. Mostly what I'm gonna do with this bike is "cruise in style". I wanna stretch it but I haven't made up my mind if I wanna go with the 240 rear or just stay with stock. So that would decide whether I go with extensions or whole swing arm. I have to throw in that I am a big guy. That's reason for me buying the Busa. It feels more comfortable. I'm open to any suggestions so feel free to throw in your .02. Thanks ahead guys!

Here's one pic I have of the bike. Will take more when I have it tomorrow.

Welcom to the Busa family, you will love your new bike. We all do..
My best suggestion is to get a few thousand miles in the saddle and decide what things would feel more comfortable to you before starting in on all the modifications.
Enjoy her..

Welcome to the oRg. If you have a 4 to 1, you most likely have a power commander installed as well. If you plan to stretch, make sure your budget includes a new shock spring. :welcome:

:welcome: to the oRg

IMHO given you stated you'll just be riding ....... leave it alone. It's your ride your money, but the stretched 240 kit is an appearance thing only.

Depending on how big you are and how long the rides are, you might be looking at helibars or risers for comfort and possibly buell pegs or similar modifications. The Busa is extremely comfortable.

While I'm at it, I'll just give you fair warning that this bike is sneaky quick and you can find yourself in more do do than you want to be in just as fast.

Get some miles under your belt and enjoy. You just bought a tremendous bike.
