New Tobin seats

I have a butt load of trouble trying to post pictures, maybe I have figured it out. Tried at work today, but never could get them to load

Finally got my bike on the street, have been waiting for pieces and parts to complete my mods over the last 6 weeks, and the weather here in Cali, has been GREAT, tons of bikes on the road, but not mine.

I have finally finished the mods I want to do at this time, I know there are not a lot of them compared to many of you, but I like the way the bike looks.

chomed grabbar
chromed kickstand
heli-bars
tobin seats (nice)
clear lenses all around
removed rear truck mud flap
added small back blinkers
D&D slip-ons (I like the sound)
LED brake lights
ZG double bubble, Dark smoke
Tank Bra
Pair valve removal

Thinks that's about it, not really looking to do much more, maybe just a lot of riding
Oh, maybe chrome rims in the future.

I had taken a lot of pictures to show here off, but like I said I could not get them to download this afternoon, I will try again tomorrow.

Thanks for letting me boast a bit.

Ride safe

very nice.... Man looks like I"ll have to get one of those.

NNIICCEE, Hey where can i find a poster of the jet breaking the sound barrier? Saw one do it at an air show.

Very nice, who did your seats? I too have D&D slipons and I love that roar! I road the other day with a few guys (954, 600RR, Yam 600r, R6, CBR F4i, zx9) and we would be at a stop light. They would rev a few times and I'd go last and after that........silence!

Gaw, great lookin' bike!  I am like you and trying to finish up those winter mods.  The seats look great.  Mine are on the way, but I went with the subtle approach (dull black w/ gloss black logos).  Where did you get that gas cap cover?  I kind of like that!  That plus an TG undertail, new grips and garage door opener mod are about it for now.  Probably go with some slip-ons and PCIIIR next year.

Big Dawg, those seats are from Tobin O'Connor. Here's the info on them.

Thanks BS for the info, just noticed your response.
Did you decide to get the Corbin seats?
Seems like the consensus is Corbin for distance and Tobin for looks.  I just bought a front seat off ebay for $26 so I'll be sending that one to Tobin and I may purchase a Corbin on Ebay currently going for $160.  That way I'll have my stock seat, Corbin & Tobin.
I've thought about getting the Corbin, as well, but I don't really do much distance riding. Let us know how it feels if you get it. Checked this morning and my seats are on the truck for delivery! I can't wait to see how they look and feel!

I think you'll love 'em bro. I wouldn't trade my Tobin seat for anything. Like you, I don't do a lot of long distance ridin'. The Tobin seat is perfect for me. Let me know how you like yers. I know you've got yer allen wrench layed out, waitin' for that big brown truck to pull in!

The gas cap cover is actually a sticker, I got on a website, But can't really remember which one, just typed in motorcycle decals and found it.
Took a bit of time to put on the cap.

I rode the bike several hundred miles on the Tobin seats this weekend, they are a bit harder than the stock, but I really like the hump pad, keeps you secure in the seat with some back support.  Have never tried corbin's but so far no complaints with the Tobin seats, and they do attract people. Actually meet a guy with a Busa, and gave him our website so he could look up the Tobin seat info, he was really impressed.
I probably need to do more riding research on the seats, will keep you posted.

Oh, yea I rode with a friend who has a Aprilla Toreno (sp), we switched bikes for a bit, The Aprilla has torque, but you sit on top of the bike, kind of like a dirt bike, did not like it so much. Now on the other hand, my friend really enjoyed the Busa, the power, the sitting in the bike, and the way it handled. He was impressed that the bike did not feel near as heavy as he though it would. The guy has owned all kinds of bikes, if he wants one he buys it.
I just though it was a good report form a very good rider who has owned about 10 bikes in tha last 5 years.
He also has a ZX12, that is for sale if any are interested.

Ride safe.
