New lowering top clamp. When turned all the way left/right causes front brake to lock. (brake/clutch hits dash) Is there anything I can do, or do I need to send it back? It seems someone else posted with this problem but I cant remember what they did. Thanks

Whose clamp?

You may have to rotate the levers slightly.

Exoticycle's clamp will clear.

Yes they are stock. I have tried to adjust up, down and side to side, it still hits. I think if I had a 1/8 inch it would clear it. I was told every k8 after market top clamp hits slightly. I was also told PPM customs has levers specically designed to fix this problem. Thats another $140.

Another suggestion was to put a wheel weights on the stop on the lower tree. I thought I would have gotten more suggestions or comments since so many people have this mod. I will post if I get it figured out.

Are you talking about the levers or the fluid reservoirs? If it is the reservoirs, just rotate the rearward"¦ If they are aftermarket lever, nothing you can really do, mine hit too"¦ but I rarely turn that tight"¦
