Hello, getting ready to order a Stage 1 from RCC and was just trying to get some feedback (good or bad) from anyone dealing with this company. I've heard alot of positive things but just doing some last minute checking before I pull the trigger on the order.

If you dont want to post a reply on here, you can reach me direct at Chunkybeastracin@aol.com
Thank you.

Great Place, if you need a my assitance pm me or you can call richard direct.I was the guy you been emailing with..

Thanks I appreciate that. I think I'm gonna go with the RCC vs. the velocity because they seem a little easier on upgrading to higher horse power when the time comes

POWERHOUSE is still offering a discount on RCC kits for org members, if you are interested, let me know . . .

Im excited to see how That build is gonna come along on that thread POWERHOUSE started.. Im Sending Him My bike too

I just ordered my RCC kit I bought mine through Rich at RCC but if you can get a deal through POWERHOUSE go for it mine was just shy of $5000 but the main reason for going with RCC was reputation all I hear is good. I was going to go with the velocity kit but after reading so many post from so many different people it just made sense to buy the kit from RCC , I aint wait till this box shows up at my door!! So after countless readings and searching the internet for info I have come to the Conclution that RCC is simply the easiest Busa Turbo company to deal with and they make a good kit. keep an eye on my acct. I will post pics good pics of kit as well as install so anyone interested can get a good idea of what involved . Anyway good luck

POWERHOUSE is still extending a $200 discount on all RCC turbo systems to org members with more than 10 posts. And we will throw in an RCC T-shirt as well. We sell RCC, Velocity, Hahn, Mr. Turbo and others, but consider the RCC kit top notch, and the best "off the shelf" kit available today. RCC is also the only system we know of that comes with a two year warranty. POWERHOUSE stands behind all of RCC's products, and will be more than happy to offer any and all assistance you may need during your build, tune, and after the sale. You are on you way to one of the best bikes you have ever owned!

Frank, on a stage 1 rcc Turbo kit when does to start to spool?

Here is just one example. As you can see, the turbo actually starts to go "positive" right after 4,000 rpm and gets to full song by 6,000 . . .

So under 4,000 is it running like a n/a motor?

You need to keep in mind that how the boost comes on is a function of throttle position, rpm and load. The chart I posted is for a bike in 5th gear and the throttle snapped wide open at 4,000 rpm. This same bike will cruise at 100 mph and NOT be on boost. My drag bike I can launch and be on boost. For most typical street riders, the bike acts like an NA bike up to about 6,000 rpm. You can cruise easily everywhere, just like you used to. Turbos and boost pressure are dependent on rider input for the most part, not like a supercharger. You are on boost when you want to be. I ride my Ultra street bike everywhere, and I love it. Its like my regular Busa, except that it has a nasty mean streak that seems to be connected to my throttle . . .

OK thanks and I hate you. I'm trying to decide between Turbo, 1441 or nitrous and you making the most expensive one look like the best option lol

I too was faced with the dilema of either choosing to build a 1440cc big motor, build a nitrous motor or, do a turbo and after much consideration the turbo was the best choice for me to get the most horsepower while still on a budget and I ordered the RCC today directly from Richard at RCC.

I appreciate everyones input.

I blew my engine and am faced with the same delima of turbo or 1441? I was thinking 1441 for the money since I have to get new jugs anyway.

Thanks for all the feed back. I went and ordered the stage 1 from RCC. Do any of you guys have any track experience running the stage 1 in the 1/4 mile. Mine will be on a stock gen 1 that will be streched/tuned. I weigh around 225 suited up and our track is at 9000 feet here in colorado. I am far from an epert but do have a couple season under my belt at the track. Just trying to get a feel for what kind of realistic times to expect from this setup and do they make actually 250 hp or is it less.

Thank you

Depends on what other upgrades you are doing?

It'll make 400+ with supporting mods, if you are leaving the engine stock then you will want to limit the power to a safe level.

Times depend on your setup...
