Well Ive finally gotten around to haveing the new undertail exhaust made. A friend of mine who I should have gone to the first time around is putting the finishing touches to the exhaust. Here are a few shots of the exhaust being made. If anyone needs any welding done or is looking into a custom project give this man a shout. Remeber these are not the finished pics so some of the welds will not look clean.

Rear end completely shaved down. Bye bye trunk space.

This is the can/muffler. My friend made chambers inside the can/muffler. The can is only tank welded currently.

Side shot of the can/muffler. This is not the final design of the can/muffler. When finished the can will not be a rectangle box.

Quick shot of the exhaust tips. These will fit into the rear opening in the Top Gun undertail where the brake lights would be normally.

This is the collector pipe. This mates to the Yosh header pipe. Then 2 smalled pipes will run into the can/muffler.

midpipe. The right mid pipe will be raised.

Heres a shot of the mid pipes from behind the bike. Dont worry guys there will be enough clearance between the swingarm and mid pipe once the mid pipe is secured to the can/muffler and mounting points made.

Well thats it now now guys. I'm trying to have everything ready by the fall VA ride. My painter is cutting it close and so is Al. But I am sure AL will have everything done within the next few days. As for the plastics, I dunno.

Yeah, after these mods. The busa is done. I picked up another winter project. I dont know where I am going with it. Its a 2005 GSXR1000 with 26 miles that suffered front end damage. Street fighter turbo or make it back to stock. Sell for a profit then throw a turbo on the bus??? Too many choices.
