Well, I sent my wheels to the paint shop today, should be done by next week. So I could have them on by the end of the month. These should save me 25 lbs. of rotating weight, not including the new Vortex sprocket.
Who else on this list ordered wheels, was it you Rotts4u?

I am looking to replace the stock wheels,Jeff what did you buy? I am being tiold by some that they are the same as GSXR750 wheels do you know this to be the case. I checked into carbon fiber wheels, they are available but the price is enough to buy a real nice used bike or almost 1/2 a Busa. Marvic, Dymag, Marchenesi, Performance Machine all make Magnesium. Replacement wheels with a Titanium exhaust should remove at least 40-50lbs. Jeff did you retain the stock rotors and calipers
or did you go for the NISSIN or AP pieces.Jeff can you post the effort in mounting the rotors on the bike (alignment).

Yes I have check into the wheels, they are the same as the GSXR750 (25mm front, 28mm read axel size).

I went with TecnoMagnesio SuperLight on my 1100 last year, I'm just moving them to the busa (6.3lb front, 8.9 lb rear). Right now I am planning on keeping the stock rotors & calipers, but will change at a later date. I am going up 2-3 teeth on the rear sprocket (vortex), may change the chain.

jeffw, hey, i love those techno wheels. i've been dealing with ted out there for years. i've currently got a set on my 1991 gixxer 750 / 1216. they are awesome. let me know how it feels on the busa. feel great on the gixxer. wooo hooo

SuperLight:
Front 3.50x17 $760
Read 6.00c17 $920

You need GSXR750 wheels & bearings (25mm front, 28mm rear id). Your rotors and sprocket will fit if you want to keep them, or save additional weight and go with Vortex or something like that.
