Hey Guys I'm new here...

Looking to get another bike after a couple years without one. I have never drove a Busa but love the looks. Really want an 02 with the silver/gray color.   Just unsure if it's the kind of bike I need.

My last one was a 2003 honda 600rr so that gives you an idea of what I'm used to. The bikes I have been looking at and thinking I wouldn't mind getting are as follows: 1 Busa, 2 GSXR 750, 3 Triumph Daytona 675, and 4 Buell Firebolt 1200... I know I know Buells suck but I do love the look. I have no interest in stunting, wheelies, and stuff.. Just wants something to take on a weekend trip with the girlfriend every once and awhile and drive around town . And last I'm not a big guy 5' 10 and 150lbs... will I like a Busa??

Thanks ... Jason

Nope, you will LOVE a busa. I've been riding over 45 years, and I can't tell you how much fun this bike is to ride. What part of Mo. do you live in?

Welcome to the oRg. In all seriousness, its about respecting the right wrist. She will treat you right if you respect her, and she will bite you if you dont. The busa is hands down the best bike I have ever owned, you will have to judge for yourself, but I bet you would like it.

Welcome to the .org! That's a wide variety of bikes you are looking at. Don't know about the Triumph and the Buell, but doubt your girlfriend will be very comfortable on the back of the 750.

Thanks guys! Yeah I'm pretty sane when it comes to bikes my only concern was the size and weight of the Busa not really the power so much. How is the back seat ride for the girls as far as sport bikes go better than most??

I've not had any complaints from anyone riding on the back, but others have. Depends on the person riding, I think. Probably most of it associated with folks changing from a cruiser to the Busa. A few choices for aftermarket seats, though.

Yes I really like the silver/grey colors guess they had it in 03 but a little different. For sure I want to either polish the wheels or get chrome, can't handle the black wheels..

I'm in SW Missouri.

The new Buells aren't that bad. A few nice ones around here. Just dont like how it sits from the factory, almost feels like it wants to throw you over the headlight just sitting on it.

You'll love a Busa, just be prepared to go broke.

Hello

To ride with the girl as to be the busa, the 675 and the gsxr 750 are very uncomfortable for the passenger, i already have tryed the 675 and it´s a great bike with a great exaust sound and a good engine but for small travels alone, but nothing to do with the busa.

With the busa you will get the best of two worlds, sporting, confortable and a good milleage before filling the tank.

whatever your choise is, be wise pick the busa

Seriously, If your passenger likes to ride on the back of the 600 she will love the Busa.

Get you one and ride it like you stole it

Miles are not so much an issue as maintenance is. If the miles are high, check to see if they have the records to back it up. I wouldnt worry if they did. Welcome to the oRg.
