The bike was not stock on the airstrip either. It was rumored to have valve and head work, injectors bored, milled head,it did have a pipe. They would not talk a lot about the bike...had a friend there to witness this. Some speed shops will do any thing to get people to flock to them for business.

From Dragbike.com
Lee Shierts rode a Hayabusa to a new world record recently at Maxton Airport, Launburg, NC, recording just over 200 MPH on the .9 mile runway. East Coast Timing Association officiated the event.
(Damn... Thats sweet in less than a mile!!!!)

The British Land Speed record (2 wheel / Driven wheel) has been broken by a Hayabusa pilot Dan Harris, who recorded an official 217mph. The bike was not stock, and had carbs and NOS.

Todd,
I visited your web site. Cool site! You should call yourself Mr. Speed. I 'd like to see the video from MCN, but couldn't find it on your website and your email isn't listed. Send me the video when you have a chance. Thanks

I also have a bunch of movies available to you guys for download.

They are at http://members.cyberjosie.com/movies/ The one that shows 202mph is called, "200mph" and wasn't 202 mph, it was 200.2 mph. But hey, that's splitting hairs.

I also have other movies there as well... I tried giving them names that everyone would understand without having to set up thumbnails. Should make sense. Thers is more than just Hayabusa stuff there... There is a cool crash or two (nobody hurt, that's why it's cool), a ZX11 movie or two, and yes, a XX movie or two. Heck, there is even a GSXR11 movie and an R1 movie, plus a short video of how people act when they see too much Josie online (that's a good one, called, "Pat_pissed_at_Josie." You will like that one...)

The other movie that you are referring to, the one from MCN... I think that is the one that was on "Extremem Machines" right? It's called "extrememachines." You will love it.
