skater69 (howie) and I were gonna go,but I got a call about 8pm --- a problem with his bike
He was adjusting the chain I guess and crossthreaded the rear axle nut. It took me a while to get that sucker off (almost went for the torches) and the nut and rear axle bolt were toast. So, he sprung for a late nite at Chili's and I over slept this am
anyone got a 02 blackbird axle and nut lying around?

The other funny part about the day was right after the pic was taken of me with my first place Charger jersey on, one of the clowns on their 954 told Lamb that we are going down the twisty stuff now, so he'll see me another day! But it was a good ride for sure, lots of tallented riders, and was a very fun day. I think that was one of the best ways to start the new year! A good ride prior! Looking forward to the next ride.
Oh and for those that dont know lamb or have ever ridden with him, he is an outstanding guy and a very tallented rider! +1 on Lamb's riding skillz!
