Newbie dropped bike

HI, I'm fairly new to this site/and motorcycling in gerneral. Basically, i dropped my bike in a parking lot trying to avoid getting hit by a corvette convertible. My 05 grey black busa is only scratched, and Im fine. I did a rookie mistake by turning to avoide the car and stopping at the same time, but i avoided rear ending another car as well.. It fell b4 i knew what was happening. I need paint advice..IS it worth spending $ trying to repaint and reorder new decals, or should i just place stickers and decals over the mess and move on? Thanks!

Welcome and --- leave it - like they said. It'll happen again. They know, as do I. Just be glad you can replace the fairings for a very nonimal fee.

did I say nominal? I meant magnanimous... sorry. I have to get mine done too... just tipped right over...

By the way put the frame sliders on too, that way when it happens again if it does it protects the bike more, but only for low speed or parking lots tip overs.

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like i should just ride it another season and get to know the bike better b4 i do more damage. I'd hate to spend money and lose it again.

I plan to do the hump mod this weekend, thanks to this site..It rocks!
