NO 08 for the bug... Yet

Since its obvious I'm not meant to have a new busa I'm moving on to purchasing everything for it. This away I don't have to wait to make it mine! Here's my thoughts I what I want to do with it when it finally arrives in 2009  

Exhaust who's running what I kind of like the Akra stuff?


Wheels I believe Josh I'm going to have to call you and make some arrangements on a set of Dymag in Carbon Fiber/Magnesium. Was thinking Gold/black... Anyone else have thoughts on wheels for the ride? Which would look better the three spoke or five, anyone?

i would do the 5 the 3 kinda look stock just to change it a bit, i have to admit the more i see the new busa the more i want a blue one too hope you get it soon

go with the five spoke. They are the HOTNESS!!!! and while your orderin yours, get me a set also. Or I can just figure my set into your price.......Ha ha.


You may want to check out the Two Brothers exhaust for the 08`s, They are lookin pretty good this year.

Definetly go with the 5 five spoke bug!  Just saw some two brothers exhausts yesterday at a dealer here in washington.  I told the guy showing them to me that I was not impressed with the fit and finish, he looked at my Akro Evo and agreed.  The TB's just do not have that next level of fit and finish that I would want for an 08 if it was mine.  The Arata looks great as well. Just my 2c.  Good luck with all of the choices!

Most deffinetly the 5 spoke. But why not go with the all carbon wheel?

Not really bling wheels so I guess weight reduction is the key point here....so how much do they weigh inidividually?

I am betting that a set of 05-06 GSXR wheels would be pretty close to same weight at 1/5th the price. Tons of ways to make the version 1 busa better on the cheap. I could see this cahs being spent on somethign a big more fun like a big bore or a turbo...or dare I say, a supercharger?

About 19.6 for 3 spoke dymags 27lbs for GSXR wheels which is not going to be much of a savings over the 08 wheels. Haven't seen numbers yet, but they are supposed to be lighter than the 07 wheels. the 99-07 wheels hit in about 29lbs

The 5 spokes would be my choice of the two. However, I'd still lean toward BSTs if I was going CF!
