no cut frame slider

yesterday, i ordered "stree n track no cut frame slider" from US to south kroea.
only to discover this item isn't made in US. some Belgium company make this.
this parts are more expensive than normal frame slider but i think it is valuable from something point of view.

Not as strong as cut frame sliders that mount directly into the frame, but if you don't want to cut your fairing this is your only option.

I had this same slider on my '06 (couldn't bring myself to cut my baby!!). They said that it won't fit the '08--they have to redesign it for the '08. True? If so, are they now selling for the '08?
