I had a ten second cutout at 2800 miles and another one just like it at 4000 miles. That was it. The recall was done at 6000 miles and you could barely see daylight through the filter screen. The big cutout was just around the corner. I guess the crud builds up at different rates on different bikes, but blockage is inevitable.
