Non-Obnoxiuos Exhaust Systems?

I am considering putting one of the V&H slip-on's onto the Busa. I am trying to avoid putting any exhaust system on there that is obnoxious that will annoy the heck out of my neighbors. I try to be a good, courteous neighbor. At idle I don't want something that is going to vibrate the windows out of anyone's house.

Any advice on systems to avoid? Or am I ok with most slip-on's?

I come home often late at night and leave often, so I don't want to have a bike that people can hear coming for miles off.

The Brock's sttreet smart system gen 3 is what Lamb went with. He had these very concerns. Whatever you put on there is gonna be louder though. Found that the Brocks isn't any louder than the slip-ons.

I went with Yosh slip on the TRC...nice throaty sound but I still can sneak in the house and the wife never hears me! Nice thing about the Yosh is you can slip the baffle out with one screw and your sound while going a tad louder will not cause your neighbors any discomfort. You can be stealthy all you want.

Good luck and post some shots when they are done!

Dont get the Tsukigi Cannon then lol I turn my bike off about halfway up my street when i get home at well like 5 min ago lol. My neighbors have said they can hear my bike sometimes miles away.

i did the hmf high mount... i work 2nd shift and neighbors work early 1st. never a complaint as long as i idle into the area then into my garage. (cul di sac)

Mine came with a TiForce full exhaust. It doesnt seem loud to me, of course my last bike was a HD Dyna with V&H BSS on it, so no sport bike seems loud to me...

Yosh r77 slip ons are quiet but have a nice deep tone and they look great on a busa!

I have a set of D&D slip ons and they are very loud. If I used the Busa for commuting and had to leave early in the morning I would have to replace them as you can hear me coming from a couple of kms away. Inside the garage they are so loud you have to TALK VERY LOUDLY IN ORDER TO BE HEARD!!!!!

BTW, funny how a product called Tsukigi CANNON is loud.....who woulda guessed?

+1 on the Yosh TRC.. I have the 4-2-1 on mine and it is very mellow at idle/low speed. And nice and throaty when you get on it.
