I'm thinking about picking up a B-King, so I joined to see what you folks are up to. Especially interested in mods, so I'll skip directly to that section shortly. Current bike is a 2003 Suzuki TL-1000R, previous bike was a Kawasaki ZX-14.

If you happen across posts from me asking stupid questions, please be gentle. :)

:welcome:to the org. The B-King is a awesome bike you will like it, It is just as fun as a Busa, And in some ways better, The only reason I sold mine is that they are not very passenger friendly

Well, you already have one cool bike but if you're thinking about getting a B-King, I say "Go for it". They are an awesome bike!

Thanks for the welcome, guys!

Why the B-King?

I haven't even sat on either bike yet, but lately I seem to keep finding myself looking at various naked bikes, starting with the Triumph Speed Triple. The HP creep took over, and I ended up with the B-King.

I assume the B-King has a slightly more upright riding position, but like I said, I haven't even sat on one yet. When I do more than a few hundred miles in a day, my arms and elbows really start barking on the Tiller. The ZX was a bit more upright and it was much more pleasant to ride on long days. I've done over 850 miles in a single day on the Tiller. Funny thing is, the seat on the Tiller is considerably better on long days than the ZX.

I've basically decided on silver. Now I just need to find the right deal, grab the helmet and a plane ticket and be done with it.

I haven't rode the B-King, but just from sitting on it, I'de say it's more comfortable than the Busa. Then again, it's a different machine, aside from more wind on you from no fairing, I'de imagine it'd be more comfortable on an 850 mile trip.
I do have heli-bars, bar risers, and a Corbin seat on my 08 Busa though. They made it much more comfortable on my back and wrists.
