NOS Problems

Put a MPS NOS system on my Busa last summer. Ran two bottles of juice through and it worked great. Took it to the track earlier this year and when I hit the "button" the bike would bog and fall flat on its face...thought maybe I had a leak and just air left in the bottle. Refilled the bottle and took it to the track last night...same problem. I can hear the "whoosh" going into the air box so I know somethin is making it there. One of the guys at the track said I may have pressure problems?

Why? Worked good for the first to bottles under relatively same temperatures - why doesn't it work now???

You need a gauge, optimum bottle pressures are between 900-1000 psi, check all your lines, sounds like theres one loose somewhere OR your dealer (nos) hasnt given you good fills, this happens when the bottle he's filling from is near empty.Hope this helps.

Also check you solenoid, make sure its working, verify it! Make sure liquid nitrous is coming out,it'll look likea thick white fog.

Saw on another board a similar problem and the fix was to replace the solenoid.
I can't find it, but it's somewhere, along with a bunch of other nitrous knowledge and opinion. If you can't get enough info there, try going for more info.....

When you test the solenoid, if you dont want to do it with the bottle on, it should make an audible "click" when you activate it.it'll be fairly good clicking sound. NJ.

Problem solved..blew the fogger out of the airbox. Injectors were going wide open..but no NOS to mix with so....super rich mixture caused the serious bog.
