nos

I just found out that it will be hard to install nos because of a temp sensor that will cause the engine to advance the timing because it thinks the motor is cold. Does anyone know of this problem and does anyone know how to defeat it. An associate in the UK tried to spray his busa and destroyed the engine. He fixed his problem by replacing the FI system with 41mm Keihns. Obviously, I don't want to do this, so can anyone help me with this problem. I have a kit I can't do anything with. I understand taking the temp sensor off won't fix the problem.

Schnitz racing makes a Progressive controller that takes over the advance for the motor and retards the cams when nitrous is sprayed.

It has been confirmed, it is not impossible to install NOS, it's just hard as hell to do. I understand that there are 3 sensors that make running NOS risky. I'm not one of those guys trying to scare the pants off busa owners because I wish I had one. I own one already and I want us racers to be aware of what is going on out there. My source in the UK is not a magazine editor, it is a high performance shop. I really hope this helps somebody.
