i now there is alot cons with avgas...but just put it up there...i have a dyno test coming up but its more about bragging rights than anything. i have a mildly built motor that i know can handle any of these... im leaning to the side of trick fuel. the question is should i mix it?..and if so what raito? or is trick good to go? and one more question..i make 179 wthp on 93 pump gas...what will be the differnce?

Absolutely stay away from the aviation fuel.

What compression ratio? You really need to dyno it with the fuel you intend to run.

If you want to run something for the numbers VP MR9. (or if ultra high compression, MXR01 or a blend) You'll have to tune it to see the numbers. It will also have to be drained and flushed after use nasty stuff!

Mine (just over 13:1) did fine with 91 octane, 93 may be costing you a bit, but there is some insurance there if you are borderline. If running stock compression, use 87-89.
From what others are getting, I'd say 5-8hp more with the exotics.

you said mildly built. i was curious to what you did.

the 76 station over here has 100 octain for 6.99 a galon ! i was runnin pretty low and had the cash one day and decided to fil her up ! well my seat of the pants dyno says i gained alill from idle up to red line and a weird side effect ..... it idled a lill lower and exhast smelt differint . but if you have the money go with high octain . its always better for really high temps+high rpms . less chance of detonation occuring . less carbon build up too as a plus !
