I cannot believe how crazy looking and BIG that thing is. I wasnt expecting such a MASSIVE motorcycle when I went up to suzuki yesterday. You really cannot just size based on pictures. Seems like there is enough space above the busa engine for another engine.

I know, I don't mind the actual look and new design of the bike but when I first saw it in person, OMG-what happened here ::9

I think the b king looks awesome from the side and totally hideous from the top or the riders seat. Thing has a tank so big a family of 4 could play parchisi on it.

If they would have just paired the tank down maybe half again as much...ah well.

The seat on it would comfortably seat a 400+ pound man....everything on it is enormous...

They look hideous with the stock exhaust but a local dealer has a two brothers setup that makes it look a lot better, regardless I don't want to go over 150 without a windshield, seems like a lot of power you can't use...

The B-king should smoke the V-max

V-max I think is heavier plus has a 137mph (I believe) limiter
I think it's 145mph momentary for 1/4 miles passes..again

That's what 3rd gear on a BUSA.
The B-king with the 2nd gen motor shouldn't have much trouble.

Of course...take the price difference between the two and add it for B-king upgrades and see what you get (how much is a turbo  )

Yeah I was right:

B-king weighs 518lbs
V-max weighs 683lbs

V-max is 165 POUNDS HEAVIER

Actually, I think the B-King weighs around 580 wet, and the new Max about 100-lbs more than that. With both bikes stock, it will be an interesting race.

Remove the God-awful stock exhaust on the B-King, add a PCIII and a TRE, then watch out. Max is gonna have to bring his lunch to get it done. I'm just not sure how it's gonna happen with that extra 100-lbs he's packing.

The mags this fall will be fun to read as Max is tested vs. the B-King, Busa and the rest of the liter+ bikes.

Here's my bike..didn't go with the Two Brothers slipons...went with the Yoshi's instead. Also installed a Yoshi fender eliminator, too.

Also as you mentioned, the bike is naked and seriously high speed blasts are pretty ridiculous. But the B-King has a comfortable seating position for us old guys, and it sure as heck goes like H from stoplight to stoplight.

Rode one this weekend. The bike was more manuverable then I would ever imagined. Even gf Kim rode it and liked the handling. There was no curvy roads around here, but just swing from side to side on the striaght I removed most of the chicken strips. I keep thinking about it getting one not sure if I can go without a windshield. Need to ride more then a couple minutes to know if that is what I want.

hmm keep the 05 busa and just get the B-king or trade 05 and get a 08 or 09 busa:whistle:

From the riders seat the tank looks enormous. I guess cause the air rams are built into it, but man is it huge.

Been reading all the new web articles on the new V-max and they are all ga ga over the acceleration of the thing. From a low to mid range Torque perspective the B-king would be at a deficit from a stand still but once under way I would think it would reel in the v-max and set sail. Going to be interesting to see. I wonder who will have the first Chain drive conversion available for the max? And I would be willing to bet that there are more than a few pipe benders working OT to get a new exhaust out for the new MAX in a hurry.

Go ride a B-king and you will fall in love. The wind is hardly noticeable until you get over 75mph. I havent tried any of the screens yet so dont know how much they help. The width of the tank and airbox on the sides is what moves the air around you. Its very comfortable and just a ton of fun to ride.

As for it looking funny.... who cares what it looks like when you are having that much fun!! I think it looks sexy as hell myself. Just have to realize its not a hayabusa and doesnt have to look like one. It shares an engine with it but its an entirely different beast.

The B-king is like an overweight prom date fun to ride, but you don’t want to be seen on it.

When you're sitting next to a new VMax at a stoplight, here's what you'll be up against.
