I saw that too. I will change the filter when I change my oil every time. It dont cost that much and I agree with VegasDude it can hurt. Its gonna be closer to 3000 miles for me between oil changes.

No, its no typo, but for the cost of the filter and a little labor changing the oil is the most important thing you can do for a motorcycle as you well know. I know one thing changing the filter every time you change oil ain't goin to hurt it.......

I HAVE 500 MILES ON THE BIKE AND JUST CHANGED THE OIL. I LOOKED IN THE SKIMPY MANUAL WITH THE BIKE AND THEY ONLY RECOMMEND CHANGING THE OIL FILTER AT 600 MILES THEN EVERY 7500 MILES. THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT. I WILL ALWAYS CHANGE THE FILTER WITH THE OIL. DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS IS A TYPO.
