I looked at the oil filter relocator too.
It is made to have the oil coller removed, so then there would be no problem with that line.
I did not want to do that, so my only option would be to make the line longer and re-route it.
Is that an aftermarket line, it looks like braided stainless?

I figured as much. The lines are aftermarket, to better handle the conditions in front of the motor. I suppose I'll have to sell them for a longer line? Thanks.

I got it! Went to Mitch at Deering Industries in Long Beach and had him make me a hose. Wasn't cheap, but changing oil filters will be alot easier in the future.

Hi there

Would it be possible to remove the oil cooler and have no problem with the engine ?
Im changing my busa into a naked one and it would be beter if i could leave the oil cooler off .

Regards paul

Not for me.
That cooler is there for a purpose and does cool down the oil a large amount.
Check some of the other threads on cooling issues with these bikes, and I for one will not add to the problem.

Since it will be a naked bike...you should not have any over heating issues.

Im thinking of removing my oil cooler aswell , could some1 post a picture or diagram of where the allen stud / bolt is that needs to be removed from in the oil filter housing .

Cheers paul
